Oslo DCLO site zoning in progress

Ringerike Municipality as part of the Oslo Business Region is developing a unique site for data centers together with numerus regional and national partners. “Based on extensive studies and analysis, the conclusion is unambiguous: Oslo Data Center Location is one of Europes best sites for its purpose”


Oslo Data Center Location zoning is in progress, according to plan. 

Status as of late april 2017 is that work with the planning program including environmental impact assessement is progressing according to schedule.

The next milestone will be the first political consideration of the planning program including environmental impact assessement in june. 

A two month period for public scrutiny follows, and by end q3 2017, processed planning program is scheduled to be presented for final political consideration.

Adopted, buildable plan for the Oslo Data Center Location site is expected and on track to be completed in 2017.

Oslo DCLO is the premier greenfield data center site in Norway. Large area of flat land on stable and well-drained compact gravel soil. The site has some capex-reducing internal roads and infrastructure and is partly cleared and prepared.
